Salary: Rs. 16,000 – 35,800/-

Scientific Officer:
The selected candidate shall receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹35,800/- (Rupees Thirty-Five Thousand Eight Hundred only). Applicable Professional Tax (P-Tax) and Income Tax (IT) shall be deducted at source in accordance with prevailing Government rules and norms.
Scientific Assistant:
The selected candidate shall receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹28,900/- (Rupees Twenty-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred only). Applicable Professional Tax (P-Tax) and Income Tax (IT) shall be deducted at source as per prevailing Government rules and norms.
Driver:
The selected candidate shall receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Thousand only). Applicable Professional Tax (P-Tax) and Income Tax (IT) shall be deducted at source in accordance with Government rules and norms.

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientific Officer –

Candidates must possess a First Class Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the competent authority.
Candidates must have qualified for the Forensic Aptitude and Caliber Test (FACT).

2. Scientific Assistant –

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the competent authority.
Candidates must have qualified for the Forensic Aptitude and Caliber Test (FACT).

3. Driver –

Candidates must be permanent residents of West Bengal.
Candidates must have passed Class VIII from a recognized school or institution.
Candidates must possess a valid Driving License (DL) for Light Motor Vehicles (LMV), which must have been valid for at least two (2) years as of January 1, 2025.
Candidates must have a minimum of two (02) years of experience in driving Light Motor Vehicles in any Government Organization, Quasi-Government Organization, or registered Private Limited Company.
Experience certificates issued by the respective employer(s) must be produced at the time of verification.
