Bank of Baroda (BOB) has officially released the recruitment notification (Advt No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/16) for the appointment of 2,482 vacancies for the post of Local Bank Officer (LBO) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMG/Scale-I) regularly.
Eligible graduates with at least one year of post-qualification banking officer experience can submit their applications online through the official Bank of Baroda careers portal before the closing deadline.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification & Experience (As of August 01, 2026)
- Education: Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution (Integrated Dual Degrees, CA, ICWA, Engineering, and medical graduates are also eligible).
- Mandatory Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of full-time post-qualification experience as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (RRB) listed in the Second Schedule of the RBI.
- Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the applied state/UT.

- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Upper Age Relaxation:
- SC / ST: 5 Years (Up to 35 Years)

Selection Process
The selection framework consists of the following stages:
- Online Written Examination (120 Questions / 120 Marks, 120 Minutes):
- Banking Knowledge (30 Qs / 30 Marks)
- General / Economic / Financial Awareness (30 Qs / 30 Marks)
- Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude (30 Qs / 30 Marks)
- English Language (30 Qs / 30 Marks)
- Psychometric Assessment / Group Discussion (GD): Conducted at the bank’s discretion.
- Personal Interview (PI): Minimum qualifying marks: 60% for General/EWS, 55% for Reserved categories.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Mandatory for candidates who did not study the state’s local language in 10th or 12th standard.
