Educational Qualification & Sports Achievements
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th Standard (Matriculation) from a recognized educational board.
Player Requirement: Must be an active local club-level player.
Sports Credentials: Must satisfy at least one of the prescribed criteria:
Represented a State/UT or India in recognized Senior/Junior National or International Championships.
Secured a medal/position up to third place in National Games, Junior National Championships, Inter-University tournaments, or Khelo India Youth/University/Winter Games.
For cricket applicants: Registration with the relevant local cricket association.

Selection Process
The selection process carries a total of 100 marks and is structured into two main phases:
Application Scrutiny & Profile Weightage (50 Marks):
- Age of Candidate: Up to 20 Marks
- Representation of State/UT at National Level: Up to 15 Marks
- Representation of India at International Level: Up to 15 Marks
Field Trials & Practical Assessment (50 Marks):
- Physical Fitness & Endurance: 20 Marks
- Sport-Specific Skills, Technique & Tactical Understanding: 20 Marks
- Behavioral Attributes: 10 Marks
Document Verification: Verification of original educational mark sheets, age proof, identity card, and original sports achievement certificates.
