Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10th Class / Matriculation / SSC or its equivalent under the 10+2 system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
Candidates must also possess an ITI Certificate / National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT or SCVT recognised by the Government of India.
The ITI qualification in the relevant trade is mandatory.
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 15 years old.
The maximum age is below 24 years as of 7 July 2026.
Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- PwBD Candidates: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per the applicable Government rules
Application Fee
The application fee for General, OBC and EWS candidates is ₹100.
SC, ST, PwBD and all female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
The fee, wherever applicable, must be paid online through the application portal.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list prepared using marks obtained in the 10th examination and the relevant ITI trade.
Shortlisted candidates will subsequently be called for:
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
There is no written examination or interview for the Apprentice selection.
