Vacancy Details:
The vacancies include:
- Goods Train Manager – 2,750 posts
- Senior Clerk-cum-Typist – 371 posts
- Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist – 300 posts
- Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor – 127 posts
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised university. Applicants for typist posts must also qualify for the applicable Computer-Based Typing Skill Test.
Age Limit:
The prescribed age limit is 18 to 33 years as of 1 January 2027. Age relaxation is available for eligible reserved categories according to Railway recruitment rules.
Salary
- Pay Level 5: Initial basic pay of ₹29,200 per month.
- Pay Level 6: Initial basic pay of ₹35,400 per month.
Applicable allowances and benefits will be provided according to Railway rules.

- SC/ST/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories: ₹250
Eligible candidates may receive a fee refund after appearing in CBT 1, subject to the official notification’s conditions.
