Position Eligibility & Requirements
- Educational Qualification
- Must have passed SSC / Matriculation / 10th Class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized educational board.
- Must have passed the ITI course in the relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) recognized by the Government of India.
- Note: Candidates whose 10th or ITI results are awaited as of the notification date are not eligible. Higher technical degree or diploma holders are also excluded from this particular training framework.
- Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 15 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limits are relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST applicants, 3 years for OBC applicants, and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Selection Process
The selection layout eliminates conventional written examinations to prioritize academic consistency:
- Merit List Generation: Selection will be done based on a merit list prepared by taking the simple average of percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation (10th) and ITI examinations, giving equal weightage to both courses.
- Tie-Breaker Rule: In case of two applicants holding the identical score average, the candidate older in age will be preferred. If birth dates also match, the candidate who passed the matriculation examination earlier will be placed higher.
- Final Verification: Shortlisted names will undergo an on-site Document Verification and routine medical screening.
