Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Must have passed the 10th Class (Matriculation) examination or its equivalent under the 10+2 system with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
• Must possess a valid National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Selection Process

The candidate selection framework is entirely objective and eliminates written testing:

1. Merit List Formulation: Selection is based on the simple average of the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and the ITI/NTC examination in the relevant trade (equal weightage).
2. Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates must present their original educational mark sheets, trade certificates, age proof, and caste credentials.
3. Medical Fitness Examination: Satisfying prescribed standard visual acuity, hearing, and minimum physical standards (Height: 137 cm, Weight: 25.4 kg, Chest Expansion: 3.8 cm).
