Eligible candidates holding an Engineering Diploma, B.E./B.Tech degree, or a relevant Science degree can submit their applications online via the centralized Railway portal before the closing deadline.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification
- Junior Engineer (JE): Three-year regular Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Instrumentation, or related allied Engineering branches from a recognized university/institution.
- Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): Diploma or Degree in any branch of Engineering from a recognized board/university.
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): B.Sc. Degree with Physics and Chemistry (minimum 45% aggregate marks) in relevant combinations from a recognized university.

Selection Process
The candidate selection framework is structured into four sequential stages:
- Stage 1: 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-I) — Screening test (100 Questions / 100 Marks, 90 Minutes) covering Mathematics (30 Qs), General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 Qs), General Awareness (15 Qs), and General Science (30 Qs).
- Stage 2: 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II) — Technical merit round (150 Questions / 150 Marks, 120 Minutes) covering General Awareness (15 Qs), Physics & Chemistry (15 Qs), Computer Applications (10 Qs), Environment & Pollution Control (10 Qs), and Technical Abilities of the specific trade group (100 Qs).
- Stage 3: Document Verification (DV) — Verification of original educational mark sheets, degree/diploma certificates, caste proofs, and identity credentials.
- Stage 4: Medical Examination — Fitness assessment matching standard Railway medical categories (A-3, B-1, B-2, and C-1).
Note: There is negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer in both CBT-I and CBT-II.
How to Apply
- Visit the official centralized RRB application portal or your preferred regional RRB website.
- Click on “Apply” and select “Create an Account” using your Aadhaar number, active mobile number, and email ID.
- Log in with your generated credentials and choose the single RRB zone you wish to apply under.
- Fill out the application form with your personal details, academic percentages, engineering discipline, and preferred post categories.
- Upload clear scanned files of your recent passport-size photograph, digital signature, and SC/ST caste certificate (for free rail travel pass, if applicable).
- Complete the fee payment online using net banking, cards, or UPI.
- Review your complete application summary, submit the form, and download a printed copy of the final confirmation receipt for your records.
