Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Technician Grade I (Signal) and Technician Grade III positions.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification
- Technician Grade I (Signal): B.Sc in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation OR B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in relevant Engineering streams from a recognized university or institute.
- Technician Grade III: Matriculation / Class 10th pass AND ITI certificate in relevant trade (issued by NCVT / SCVT) OR Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade.
- Age Limit (As of July 01, 2026)
- Technician Grade I (Signal): 18 to 33 Years
- Technician Grade III: 18 to 30 Years
- Note: Upper age relaxation applies as per Government of India rules (5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 10 years for PwBD candidates).
Application Fee
- General / OBC / EWS Candidates: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400 refundable after appearing in CBT)
- SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD / Female / Transgender / EBC Candidates: Rs. 250/- (Fully refundable after appearing in CBT)
- Payment Mode: Online via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.
Selection Process
The selection process is structured in three consecutive stages:
- Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT) — An objective-type test consisting of multiple-choice questions evaluating core subjects and technical trade knowledge.
- Stage 2: Document Verification (DV) — Verification of original academic certificates, identity proofs, and category documents.
- Stage 3: Medical Examination — Assessment of physical and visual fitness as per standard Railway medical categories.
How to Apply
- Visit the official centralized RRB portal or your respective regional RRB website.
- Click on “Apply” and select “Create an Account” to register with your active mobile number, email ID, and Aadhaar card details.
- Log in using your generated credentials and select your preferred Railway zone and post category.
- Carefully fill out the online application form with your personal background, educational qualifications, and ITI/Degree trade details.
- Upload clearly scanned files of mandatory documents, including your passport photograph, signature, 10th mark sheet, and category certificate (if applicable).
- Process the application fee using the digital payment options available.
- Review all parameters in the form summary layer, submit the application, and save a printed soft copy of the confirmation receipt for your records.
