For Hospital Assistant (Direct Recruitment), candidates must have passed High School / Class 10th.
- Mandatory Registration:

- Knowledge of Hindi is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant hospital/ward experience.

Selection Process
The selection process for Hospital Assistant Recruitment 2026 is expected to include:
- The selection process consists of a single-stage Online Written Examination(Computer-Based Test).
- The exam will carry 100 marks with 100 objective-type MCQ questions.
- Total exam duration is 2 hours.
- The question paper will be available in Hindi and English.
Evaluation & Result Preparation
- Results will be prepared based on the Percentile Score.
- If the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, the Normalised Equi-Percentile (NEP) scaling technique will be applied.
Merit List Criteria
- The merit/panel list will be prepared category-wise based on percentile scores.
- In case of a tie (same percentile score), the following criteria will be applied:
- First preference: Higher proportionate marks
- Second preference: Older candidate (by age)

- A waiting list will be created with 15% of the total selected candidates.
The waiting list will remain valid for:
- 1 year from the date of result declaration, OR
- Until a new result is declared(whichever is earlier).
