Vacancy Details :

Various vacancies are available in four categories:

Medical Officer – AYUSH (MHT), Male
Medical Officer – AYUSH (MHT), Female
Pharmacist
Staff Nurse

The selected candidates will be engaged on a purely contractual basis under the National Health Mission. The place of posting will be any Rural Hospital (RH) under Jhargram district.

Educational Qualification :

The educational qualifications differ according to the post.

Medical Officer – AYUSH (MHT): Candidates must possess a recognised BHMS, BAMS or BUMS qualification. The male and female vacancies are notified separately.
Pharmacist: Applicants must have a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D-Pharma) in Allopathy from an institute approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) or AICTE. Registration with the West Bengal Pharmacy Council is compulsory.
Staff Nurse: Candidates must have completed GNM training from an institute recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. Registration with the West Bengal Nursing Council is required.

Applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal and able to read, write and speak Bengali. Experience, wherever required, will be counted after completion of the relevant qualification.

Age Limit :

The maximum age limit for Medical Officer and Staff Nurse posts is 40 years. For Pharmacist posts, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 40 years. Age will be calculated as on 1 January 2026.

Salary Details :

The monthly remuneration varies according to the post:

Medical Officer – AYUSH (MHT): ₹32,000
Pharmacist: ₹22,000
Staff Nurse: ₹25,000

The engagement will be contractual under the National Health Mission, with remuneration governed by the applicable NHM guidelines.

Selection Process :

The selection process will be based on marks obtained in academic qualifications and relevant experience, wherever applicable. Document verification will also be conducted. For Staff Nurse candidates, experience marks may be considered according to the recruitment criteria.
