Maximum Age: 50 Years
Age Relaxation Extra as per the Recruitment Rules.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2, Matriculation, and ITI Certificate from a recognised board.
Selection Process
1. Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates will first undergo the Physical Standard Test to verify whether they meet the required physical criteria prescribed by the recruiting authority.
This includes:
- Height measurement
- Chest measurement (for male candidates)
- Weight and overall physical fitness standards
Only candidates who fulfil the required physical standards will be allowed to proceed to the next stage.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates qualifying in PST will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test, which is designed to assess their physical endurance and fitness level.
The PET may include:
- Running (within a specified time limit)
- Long jump / High jump (if applicable)
- Other physical tasks as per the recruitment rules
Failure to qualify in the PET will lead to disqualification from further stages.
3. Written Examination: Candidates who clear the physical tests will be eligible for the written examination.
The written test will evaluate:
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs
- Reasoning Ability
- Basic Mathematics
- General Awareness related to the post
The exam pattern, duration, and syllabus will be as per the official notification.
4. Marks Distribution & Merit List Preparation: The final merit list will be prepared based on a combination of marks obtained in the written examination and additional weightage.
Marks may be awarded for:
- Educational Qualification (Higher marks for higher education)
- NCC Certificates (A, B, C)
- Sports Achievements (District / State / National level)
- Other relevant qualifications or achievements
This ensures a fair and balanced selection process.
5. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
They must produce original documents such as:
- Educational certificates
- Age proof
- Identity proof
- Category certificates (if applicable)
Failure to provide valid documents may result in cancellation of candidature.
6. Basic Training: Finally, selected candidates will undergo mandatory basic training.
During training:
- Discipline and performance will be evaluated
- Practical and theoretical knowledge will be provided
- Candidates must complete training to confirm their appointment
